I remember getting started with NGB. It started off as a lifestyle, then a song, then a brand. Running a business definitely goes in my top 10 toughest things to do.  When at the bottom it can be tough getting support.  When at the top it's tough to tell people "No.". I've learned that focus, determination, and wisdom can help a business become successful. Focus on the tasks and goals.  Focusing may require you to turn down certain deals but will help you stay on track. Have high determination when running your business.  Don't quit because something didn't work out.  Learn from it and press forward.       A few weeks ago I was talking to my wife about chasing dreams.  I told her that we have to realize that our dreams are ours.  They don't belong to our supporters, family members, or friends.  This means in order for us to be successful living out our dream we must own it! It's the owners job to promote it, sell it, and buy it.  It's the owners job to get everyone else to believe in that dream.  It's the owners job to work HARD to achieve that dream.  It's your dream! 

        Sometimes it's good to think about where God brought you from.  It has never been easy for me to navigate through life.  I've had to work hard for everything I have.  My 7th grade teacher told said to me "Hey, when you get going things are good, but when the going gets tough you quit."  That has stuck with me all of these.  Now I look forward to the challenges that life presents.  I embrace the tough times, although they are not easy.  If I ever run into my 7th grade teacher I would tell here...
